Turning science and frontier tech (AI mainly) into (hopefully valuable) products is my passion, and my job. I spent all of my professional life in and around startups.
Previously, I helped R&D and engineering at Synthesia🦄 to mold AI into features (e.g. Express-1). I worked on Autonomous Driving at Wayve🦄 and on robotics and perception tooling at DeepenAI, when I spearheaded Safetypool: a public scenario database for Automated Driving Systems V&V. I launched a tiny robotics startup (TactileRobots) during college.
I mentor and contribute to LeadTheFuture to inspire and support the next generation of STEM leaders in Italy.
I am a bit obsessed with learning new stuff and skills. Recently I've spent 3 months in an intensive ML engineering program in London which I highly recommend.
I like the outdoors, surfing, kiteboarding, recently got into Hyrox training and DJing, sometimes I write.
